We have a few fun Easter traditions. One is that we always have and Easter egg hunt for the kids on Saturday and Rich's parents house. Then we eat "Eggs al la Golden Rod" (or some spelling like that :) ) It's toast with hard boiled eggs sliced up on top and a white cream gravy over the top. We eat this with bacon or sausage and juice. On Sunday we got to my parents for the adult Easter egg hunt. The couples are tied together and then sent off to hunt. Some eggs have candy or $$, but most have numbers that represent different prizes we get when we're finished. It's fun little tradition. With our kids we do simple Easter baskets and an Egg hunt Sunday morning with only 12 eggs that each have in them one of the symbols of Easter. We have a little devotional about Christ and Easter. It's nice and simple. This year Easter was a little crazy with Conference. There was not quite enough time for everything, so the weekend went by in a hurry, but we're still grateful for a fun holiday filled with great memories!
