May 6th

Today we went to the city of Tel Dan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tel_Dan. The wall construction are like those of the old city of Jericho. This is the where the 10 tribes of Israel are separated. Here King Rehoboam decided to rule with a heavy hand over Israel, rebellion eventually broke out and all was lost. http://scriptures.lds.org/en/1_kgs/12

Next we went to Ceasarea Philippi also called Banias. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banias. This is the location that Peter testified that Christ was the son of god. http://scriptures.lds.org/en/matt/16

Next we went to Nimrods fortress which sits on a hill it was fun.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimrod_Fortress

We spent the rest of the day looking at old cities and the land where the 6 day war took place. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six-Day_War
